Here’s how I went from being an out of shape and stressed working mom to a happy and fulfilled mighty mom!
I was a college athlete (tennis was my sport) and while in medical school and residency managed to stay in shape by out exercising my bad diet of convenience foods and break room desserts. But after having two kids things fell apart. I worked a stressful job in the ER and dealt with mommy stress at home. I lived for the end of the day; after we finally got the kids to bed, I would dig into a big bowl of ice cream.
I was overweight, exhausted and feeling crabby a lot. Unable to find time to workout, I started to buy larger and larger clothes and didn’t like the way I looked in the mirror or in pictures. I was having a hard time keeping up with my very active kids and for the first time in my life was huffing and puffing going up the stairs. I knew my children deserved an energetic and happy mom and that something had to change.
I started on my own fitness journey a few years ago and using the exact programs that I recommend to my clients I lost 35 pounds of pregnancy weight and kept it off, gotten in the best shape of my life and overcame stress eating (and a bad sweet tooth). I became a part of a fitness community that I absolutely love and now I’m feeling mightier than ever before!
I decided to become a coach so that I could pay it forward and help other people feel their best by reaching their health and fitness goals. As my team has grown, I mentor new coaches on how to grow a successful side business so that they too can create more freedom of time and finances in their lives while helping others.
In the ER, I get a chance to save lives, but as a coach, I get a chance to truly change lives by preventing clients from having lifestyle diseases that can be avoided by making healthy choices.

(and not just physical ones, but mental and emotional transformations, too.)
We ladies often put our own wellness last, but I know from first-hand experience that we cannot pour from an empty cup. We must first take some time (and it doesn’t have to be a lot of time) to care for ourselves in order to be able to give to others. And when we do, we bring out the best in ourselves and those around us. I’m excited to hear more about YOUR goals and to figure out how I can best serve you and EMPOWER you to reach your goals.
